Photo Collage Maker 0.1.4: Share custom layouts with JSON

Version 0.1.4 adds a full export and import workflow for custom layouts. You can now save a custom grid as a JSON file, move it to another computer, and restore the entire canvas in seconds.

What the JSON includes

  • Custom grid structure (rows, columns, spacing, borders, corner radius, per-cell sizes)
  • Canvas size and background (color or image plus its settings)
  • Photos in slots, including position, scale, rotation, flip, opacity, and shape
  • Text elements, drawings, stickers, and watermark settings
  • Current template and layout mode info

How to export a layout

  1. Open Design and select the Custom Grid template (the JSON buttons will appear).
  2. Build your collage and adjust all settings.
  3. In the right panel, click Export Layout (JSON).
  4. A .json file downloads. Share it with another device or user.

How to import a layout

  1. Open Design and select the Custom Grid template.
  2. Click Import Layout and choose the JSON file.
  3. Confirm the prompt. The current canvas will be replaced.
  4. Continue editing or export the final image.

Tips

  • JSON files can be large because images are embedded as base64.
  • For best compatibility, import with version 0.1.4 or later.
